BASIC CARE
Your Kilim should be hung over your washing line or placed outside for a few hours to deodorise it naturally. Use a soft brush to remove dried mud or other surface stains.
WASHING
For Small Rugs (Up to 24 Sq. Ft. but dependant upon your machine capacity):
Wash smaller rugs in your home machine on a 40 degree/wool cycle with a colour-safe recommended powder or liquid but without fabric conditioner.
For Large Rugs (Over 24 sq. ft. but dependant upon your machine capacity):
Do not wash in your home machine or dry clean. Use a commercial (laundrette) machine on a 40 degree/wool wash cycle without fabric conditioner.
Do not tumble dry. Leave to dry naturally.
