Flokati Rug Company was formed in 1987 to import these beautiful floor coverings from Greece to Britain for sale through trade outlets and direct to the public, either via mail order or during an arranged visit to our warehouse in South London.
We have the widest range of Flokati available in the UK, and we offer two grades or thickness of rug. There is a choice of 2 kilo (4.4 lbs.) of wool pile per square metre woven onto a synthetic backing, or 3 kilo (6.6 lbs.) of wool per square metre woven onto a pure wool backing. Sizes range from 2' x 4' up to carpet size 8' x 11' 2", but any rectangles can be linked to suit your requirements.
Greek weavers also make a wonderful range of Kilim rugs, which Flokati Rug Company is pleased to offer for sale. The Greek Kilim is a very durable rug made to withstand heavy usage and regular washing. It is produced from 100% recycled fibres. We stock a range of colours, and sizes from 19" by 19" to 4' 7" by 7'. We also stock a Kilim to provide that elusive runner to take the wear and tear in the most-used area in any house, the entrance hall.
